Practice Areas

Family Law and Succession

It’s the branch of the law that regulates the legal relationship between family members as well as the rights bound to those relations.

FDD Advogados handles issues such as divorces, setting the parental responsibility, and other matters regarding family law.

FDD Advogados also works with all matters related to wills and legitimate successions, administration and distribution of the state and tax and fees bound to these processes.

The monitoring of these cases can be performed in a judicial or extra-judicial manner.

Civil Law

It’s the main branch of the private law, it includes the norms that determine the rights and duties of the private sphere, related to the people, their rights and duties, their states and relations as members of the society.

FDD Advogados handles all matters related to contracts, from the negotiation phase all the way to the final signature. These include matters related to leasing, real state, property rights and liability. We also cover the litigation and dispute resolution of these cases.

Corporate and Commercial Law

ABOUT US

Fátima Dias Dinis

Fátima Dias Dinis – Undergraduate in law by the Cátolica Lisbon University in July 1985.Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since November of 1985, has been practising since then in the areas of Commercial and Corporate Law, Civil Law and Contracts, Litigation, Family and Succession Law and Criminal and Misdemeanour Litigation.

She pursued a Post-Graduation course in Securities Law at the University of Lisbon School of Law. She briefly went into the advertisement industry after graduating, however she soon realized advocacy was her true passion.

Languages: Portuguese and English.

Sónia Correia Teixeira

Sónia Correia Teixeira – Undergraduate degree in Law at University of Lisbon School of Law, July 1998.

She completed a Banking Course. Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since November 1998, has been practising since then in the areas of Civil Law and Contracts, Registries and Notary Law, Banking Litigation, Family and Succession Law and Criminal and Misdemeanour Litigation.

With previous professional experience in the sports sphere, she later chose advocacy which filled her with its bigger scope.

Languages: Portuguese and English.
